On The Job By Anita Bruzzese Womens Anger Viewed Differently
On the Job by Anita Bruzzese Helpful info and advice from America's favorite workplace columnist Thursday, November 15, Anita, itâs very true that ladies are still judged differently from males within the office. But thatâs life. People are judged by their gender, age, their appearance, their communication expertise, their wardrobe, and many other elements that âshouldnâtâ matter however do. However, I would argue that ANYONE, male or feminine, ought to be capable of management their anger at work. Irrational outbursts are unacceptable and shouldn't be tolerated within the workplace. In fact, spewing hateful invectives at a coworker is probably grounds for termination, and rightly so! If you're so indignant that it manifests in a infantile show like the one described, you are most likely in want of medical intervention, not just a few self-talk. That said, I do like all your reminders of tips on how to hold from shedding it when issues get nutty at work. I'm going to add so me to my repertoire ;) Thanks for the comment...you make a good point. I assume it's necessary that everybody study to channel their feelings at work in a positive way, because if that happened, possibly we wouldn't have so many bosses who think that because they're the boss, it is one way or the other OK -- or it is anticipated -- that they scream and yell at workers.
